Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!

I had this great idea last week, and I was going to contact you to find out if there was a teamcamp coming up, but unfortunately never got around to it.

However, I couldn't make it tonight anyway-it's Girl Geek Dinner night.

Let me know when the next one is! I'll save my idea till then (since I have no idea what else to do with it. haha)

Thanks Maher,

I agree Mailchimp has a nice offer. However, the point of the article wasn't whether one mailing app is better than another, it was whether you should charge people to try out your application. Lot's of companies offer free trials, but how effective are they in converting "users" to "customers"? Aweber's approach is interesting as I believe the people trying their service actually intend on paying for a mail service rather then simply trying out a service for "fun". Case in point: how many free trials have you tried without really ever having any intention of paying for the service? For me, quite a few.

I think Mailchimp is a superior product and is much easier to use. They also have a very generous free subscription. Check it out at: www.mailchimp.com
